Digital Spy is one of the UK's largest media and entertainment news websites, registering over 80 million monthly page impressions and a unique audience reach of 5.4 million (Dec 2008, Google Analytics). The site is also home to one of the busiest internet discussion forums in the world.

We are looking for part-time reporters to provide news content for the entertainment area of the site.

The successful candidate will have:

* A good knowledge of the entertainment industry, particularly in the area of celebrity news, but also including television, movies and music
* The ability to source and produce news articles in the house style, with high frequency and working to fast turnaround times
* Experience preparing and conducting interviews with celebrities
* The ability to research and produce commissioned feature pieces
* The ability to use the in-house article management system and liaise with the news editor and content team to ensure continuity of coverage
* Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy

Contract, hours, location:
The following shifts will be available:

  • 9am-5pm GMT (weekends only)
  • 6pm-9pm GMT (weekdays only)
  • General cover during busy periods
