DS has logged its highest ever viewing figures as the Celebrity Big Brother race row sparked interest around the world.
On Wednesday the site logged 3.93 million page impressions, a figure that then rose to a new best of 4.07 million page impressions - some 180,000 unique visitors - yesterday (Thursday). The previous record was 3 million impressions, set as the seventh series of Big Brother began last May.
Meanwhile, the Digital Spy forums cemented their place as the number one online destination for BB discussion, setting a new record of over 17,000 concurrent online users in the aftermath of Jade's eviction. With more than 12.5 million posts and 185,000 registered members, the boards are now the 45th most popular discussion forums on any topic in the world.
Coincidentally, the new record was set as we celebrated our eighth birthday. Digital Spy started life as digiNEWS, a website dedicated to digital media news, on January 18, 1999.
