David Balls of music section-fame has been hanging out with the new Sugababes lineup plus Mis-Teeq alumnus Sabrina Washington and, not to be outdone, Alex Fletcher took his place in the jet-set and flew off to Glasgow for some Iron Chef UK action! The verdict? "Iron Chef UK is going to be the best telly show for a long, long while." I won't believe that it's better than Pineapple Dance Studios until I see it with my own eyes, although if there's a Futurama-style spice weasel I'll switch allegiances without a second thought.
In silver-screen related news, Simon spent some quality time hobnobbing with DS Movie Award-winning actor and professional White Rabbit Michael Sheen. Sadly, Simon ignored my suggestion that he congratulate Michael on his work on The West Wing and ask whether he thinks he'll always be remembered for his role in Apocalypse Now. I sometimes worry that I'm not as funny as I think I am.
The Celeb Botherer Of The Week award, however, goes to Kris Green who not only spent all of Friday night being on BBC Three's EastEnders live ep coverage but also made time for some Dancing On Ice over the weekend!
