Time for your weekly dose of office funsies but before I dive in I just wanted to invite you to share any of your own celeb encounters from the last seven days - no matter how lame - with me via the box at the end. I'd love to know how we're measuring up!
Right, so first off was a top secret trip to Spooks HQ. In fact it was so top secret all of the content from the visit is embargoed except this one picture of Catriona with Richard Armitage and Laila Rouass:
Apparently her ears were stuffed so full of secret titbits and plot info Catriona started to feel like a Spook herself. "Do you think a career in MI5 beckons?" I asked. "I suspect not - I got scared by a pigeon on the way back to the office," came the reply.
Catriona seems to have been much in demand by the stars this week actually - she also went to have a chinwag with Benedict Cumberbatch (awesome name although, as fellow TV reporter Morgan noted, not one that would easily fit in your phone's address book) the other day. Accompanying her was Chris Allen carrying the usual array of technical bits and bobs. There was a strange few minutes as Benedict thought he recognised Chris and grilled him on all possible acquaintances while Chris maintained that since Benedict is famous one he would have remembered meeting him. It was probably all a massive bluff though - Sherlock Holmes would never forget a face!
