Continuing on from last week's entry, the leaving do was wonderful. Many of the Digital Spy team who work from home - including a number of reporters, sub-editors and forum support members - as well as a few old faces came to the bar we hired to see off Neil and Dan (and Nick, too, who unfortunately wasn't there). Long-time readers of this blog might be happy to know that Phil was one of those familiars. Everyone was lovely, and I hope to see them again really soon. Below are a couple of pics from the event.

Neil will be embarking on a "world" tour, consisting of America and... well, America (edit: and Europe too, as it turns out), while our new editor David Moynihan will be starting on Monday.
This week, Simon interviewed Craig Roberts and Yasmin Paige, who star in the upcoming comedy-drama film Submarine, and learnt that Paige honed her Welsh accent by watching plenty of Gavin & Stacey. Also of interest: the pair like talking about Nando's. (FUN FACT: I have never been to Nando's. Ever. Sad, but true.) He then saw Woody Allen's latest, You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger, which was shot in London. In fact, Simon reliably informs me that DS Towers almost made a cameo appearance! If the taxi had taken a left turn in the movie, it would've gone right past our office.
No-one else gave me any cool anecdotes, so that's your lot. I'm now going to shake my head disapprovingly at everyone in the office. Except for Simon, because he actually gave me something.
