Two more semi-finalists on FOX's American Idol have made it through to the final ten.

Group four was written up by the US critics as being a mixed bag, erring more towards poor performances than good. However, there were some highlights that were universally praised, such as when Josh took on his critics in the media and said that if mobilised, he would go where ordered by the Marine Corps. Juanita's stinging attacks on judges Simon and Randy did not however earn her praise; with her behaviour being described as "obnoxious" by one critic.

As expected, Josh made it into the top three, along with Corey and Patrick. The judges universally - and correctly - predicted that Josh and Corey would go through.

Unsurprisingly, Josh earned the most votes from the American public, and put in a sterling performance live once the host Ryan Seacrest revealed this information. Coming in second place was Corey.

Not only were the next two names revealed; details also came out about the wildcard show set to air next week. Alison Cooney, Janine Falsone, Olivia Mojica, Carmen Rasmusen, Kimberley Caldwell, Trenyce and Clay Aiken, along with Chip and Nasheka from group four will all be coming back for the wildcard show. Not all of these made the final 32 in the first place, and the judges admitted mistakes had been made earlier in this season.

Simon also promised a "good" twist coming up on the show, saying FOX's recent reality smash hit Joe Millionaire wouldn't be the only show to feature one. Jokey speculation that contestants would be handed half-million dollar cheques was however quickly put down.
