American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert has reportedly enlisted the services of Lady GaGa's producer for his debut album.
According to E! News, the singer was spotted working with RedOne at a studio in Los Angeles over the weekend.
Sources close to the star have revealed that he turned to the Swedish-Moroccan producer to help achieve "a new sound that goes beyond what he did on Idol".
However, a second insider has hinted that the LP will also contain some "Queen-inspired songs".
RedOne gained international success as the producer of Lady GaGa's 'Poker Face' and 'Just Dance'. He is also reported to be working with X Factor winner Alexandra Burke on her debut album as well as on the new Sugababes offering.
Lambert's first album is scheduled for release through RCA Records in the autumn.
