The Pace Di4001 was the launch box for ntl digital cable television on the Langley platform; this box is known as generation 'A'. A second generation, 'B', is modelled on the A specifications below but has RGB output in place of S-Video and has no phono outputs. Additionally, the B boxes do not have a second card slot - the slot was originally intended for smart cashcards.
