Comic Dick arrested on drug, sex charges

Comic actor Andy Dick has been arrested on suspicion of sexual battery and drug possession, reports say.

The 42-year-old was detained in Murrieta, California in the early hours of Wednesday morning after he allegedly fondled the breasts of a 17-year-old girl before pulling down her top.

Murrieta Police Department spokesman Lt. Dennis Vrooman said: "He groped her breast with his right hand, then pulled down her top."

He added: "The victim was traumatised by this."

When police officers arrived at the scene, they discovered that Dick was in possession of one gram of marijuana and a Xanax pill, for which he did not have a prescription.

Dick was released on $5,000 bail following his arrest. His arraignment has been scheduled for August 12 in Murrieta.

Dick has appeared as a show regular in sitcoms NewsRadio and Less Than Perfect. His film credits include Employee Of The Month, Old School and Zoolander.
