Bryan Singer to produce 'Capeshooters'

Bryan Singer has signed on to produce an adaptation of Capeshooters for Warner Bros, Variety reports.

Based on an upcoming comic book by Rob Liefeld, the story focuses on two dropouts who become paparazzi specialising in taking candid snaps of superheroes. They run into trouble after discovering that a morally-upright hero is actually a villain.

Singer, director of the first two X-Men films and Superman Returns, will act as a producer on the movie.

No director is attached to the project, but J.P. Lavin and Chad Damiani have been hired to write the script.
