Phixx singer Andrew Kinlochan has admitted to being gay.

Speaking to The Sun today, he said he had decided to come out after constantly being asked about girlfriends in media interviews.

“It became annoying when I was asked questions that just weren’t relevant to me," he said. “Everyone close to me knows anyway so it’s no big deal. The band have known for ages so they’re fine about it.

“Hopefully this won’t have a bad effect on the group. Fans shouldn’t look at us any differently.???
