Five has snapped up the UK rights to air US reality show Paradise Hotel.

The programme - which puts 11 strangers in an exclusive resort and encourages them to pair up - was a breakout hit in the key 18-34 demographic when it aired on the FOX network this summer.

Five will begin screening the 31 episodes on a weekly basis from early next year.

According to Broadcast the network is also in discussions with format holder TV Corp about making a UK version of the show.
