Howard filed suit last Friday in Los Angeles Superior Court, claiming that the former Friends actress has failed to pay him commission since she terminated their working relationship in 2007.
Howard, who declined to give a figure for the lost earnings, is seeking damages of at least $50,000.
Kudrow hired Howard to manage her career in 1991 and the pair initially agreed that he would receive 10% commission. After the success of Friends, the deal was modified, with Howard foregoing commissions on Kudrow's residuals. He later agreed to drop his rate from 10% to 5%.
Howard has alleged that since being fired by Kudrow she has failed to pay him commissions for Friends in addition to other work the actress did while he was her manager.
Kudrow's Friends castmate Matt LeBlanc is also facing a lawsuit from his former manager.
