Darnell: 'Nicole and Rex soured celebrations'

Darnell has said that Nicole and Rex have made him see a negative where before there were only positives.

After spending an hour in the Diary Room talking to Big Brother, Darnell emerged to tell the housemates that he had only positive things to say about the day. "I wish every day was like this," he said.

However, after reflecting, he changed his mind. He told Kat and Rachel: "Then I thought about before the performance (of 'Thriller') and thought that it's been a shit day."

One of his main reasons was the effect the relationship between Nicole and Rex had on the group as a whole.

Darnell explained that had housemates passed the shopping task "any other week, we would have jumped on whoever led the task". Instead, Darnell was disappointed that "Nicole and Rex did their thing," making it feel like "something going on over here, something going on over there".
