FX confirms programming lineup

Upcoming entertainment channel FX UK will broadcast daily between 10am and 4am, Digital Spy can confirm today.

Launching for Sky viewers at 8pm on January 12, FX will have a lineup targeted at "the Adultman," a market which the channel believes is presently under catered for.

As previously reported, The X Files takes the prime 8pm slot every day, whilst NYPD Blue follows at 9pm. The post-10pm slot is filled with a mixture of UK premieres such as The Man Show, Drive Shaft and Trash to Cash and critically acclaimed series like The Shield.

Movies will air weekends at 9pm; confirmed films for the launch month include Desperado, Honeymoon in Vegas and Malice.

The daytime schedule includes mainly classic series - Lost in Space, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, Highlander and Batman are all featured.

Cops will take a daily slot at 7pm, with a six-hour back-to-back block airing Saturdays at 2pm.
