If the show is as dis-organised as the trial run I attended, it should be a laugh. The researchers/producers were a bunch of baffons. They'd done little research and didn't seem to know how to organise themselves. I was very surprised as to the last of planning. Hope it goes well for them though.

might liven up if 'The Victims' conspire to keep Dermot awake as well. Can't be any more boring than certain aspects of the last BB

Channel 4 must be hell bent on destroying their ratings, I would be extremely worried if the only way I had of finding entertainment was watching this utterly boring tripe, haven't they heard of DS ?
Elena on December 13th, 2003
Well, should be more interesting than BB4 - at least we'll get to see the contestants doing something this time other than sleeping....

This sounds like an awful idea, the long term medical effects of sleep deprivation of this type are well documented. Remember when the Japanese were mocked for their extreme game shows?
Cjw on December 13th, 2003
Just goes to show you how channel 4 thinks its ideas up... down the pub...
woody on December 13th, 2003
sounds like a very poor idea to me. channel 4 only likes reality tv so much because it's cheap. it's not appealing to me whatsoever

Utter pap, TV in the UK takes another dive into obscurity.
steve finnan on December 13th, 2003
Shattered? Seems like a load of nonsence to me,although I suppose that what you can expect coming from channel 4.Reality TV has gone TOO far. It is made for people who dont live a normal life. Sad!
3CheezePizza on December 13th, 2003
See, there is something when you have scraped through the bottom of the barrel.
Dan W on December 13th, 2003
Reality TV really has passed it's best... what next?....toilet deprevation TV? If people need to watch all this reality TV they really should look at their own life and try to make it more interesting.
imno12u on December 13th, 2003
Having Dermot actully in the compound makes it different. I like the sound of it.
Robert Maguire on December 13th, 2003
How can they keep making TV so boring? Does nobody in the business have any real imagination?
Graham R on December 13th, 2003
I suppose they couldn't get further away from the boredom of BB where all they seemed to do all day was sleep and snore. Whether it's a good idea I don't know. Has reality burst its bubble already?
DefenderOfPop on December 13th, 2003
It sounds boring - how are they supposed to be entertaining when they haven't slept for god knows how long. Roll on Big Brother 5!
Stuificus on December 13th, 2003
Sounds nuts... Wasnt there something about what happens to you when you don't sleep on BBC3 the other night? Body Hits I think... What happens if they all go to sleep though?
Jordan Cain on December 13th, 2003
I am extreemly looking forward to this. As an ultimate fan of all of the Big Bro's, this should provide good TV. I'll be addicted either way!
duncann on December 13th, 2003
sounds like more crappy reality TV from Channel 4 that will have us all sleeping soundly in front of the telly.
Darren Ruback on December 13th, 2003
If we can watch 12 people in a house on big brother sleep then we can watch 12 people in a house NOT sleep. i love reality tv and im sure ill be hooked
Bart King on December 13th, 2003
I'm tired of reality shows. (pun intended)
