Thorne has not danced since 'Strictly'

Willie Thorne has admitted that he has put on three stone since appearing on Strictly Come Dancing.

The former snooker player partnered Erin Boag in series five of the dance contest in 2007.

Thorne, 54, told Teletext: "I haven't danced since because I broke my leg and I put on three stone.

"But I still intend to do some dancing with my wife. It's a shame as I lost two stone while training for five weeks. I want to learn to jive."

The lineup for this year's show includes political journalist John Seargent, singer Rachel Stevens and ex-EastEnder Jessie Wallace.
