Later, back at the townhouse, Belle and Aden head upstairs, leaving the money Belle has just withdrawn from the bank in her bag on the table. When they come back down they find the bag open and the money gone. Elliot is their obvious suspect - he's the only person with access to the house who would do such a thing. Aden angrily confronts Elliot who strongly denies it.
Back at the Bait Shop, more bad news awaits Elliot. Alf's suspicions that he has been pilfering from the shop have been confirmed. Elliot is fired - effective immediately. The final blow for Elliot comes when Nicole calls off their relationship. She has recently been seeing a side to him that has totally freaked her out and even she can't be sure he wouldn't have taken Belle's money. Angry and upset, Elliot storms off, clears out his van and seems to skip town.
Aden is still convinced that Elliot took Belle's money and sees his disappearance as dashing any last hopes of getting it back. But little does he know that once again it is his father who is to blame. Back at the house Larry is in his hiding place getting stuck into a large bottle of whisky with an envelope full of Belle's money by his side.
