Housemates confined to B-block

Housemates were confined to B-block this afternoon and passed the time talking about Christmas, Halloween, movies and songs.

Rachel had just put beans on to heat when Big Brother told housemates that they had ten minutes before the rest of the house was out-of-bounds. With seconds to spare, the beans were ready and Rachel made her way to B-block with the rest of the group.

"They locked it pretty quick," Sara noted, as the door to the basic bedroom clicked shut. Rachel said Big Brother was preparing their "final task", while Rex predicted a treasure hunt.

"Darnell has already had his eye poked out, I doubt they will have us rooting about," said Mikey, referring to Darnell’s run-in with a garden plant yesterday.

Pound shops, recently-released movies and songs were among the topics housemates discussed as they lay on their beds.

Rachel then described special occasions like Christmas and Halloween in her house, adding that they have singing toys for both. Her eyes lit up as Darnell went on to explain that families in America go "all out" with their decorations.

There was an audible sigh of relief from Rex as the door to the living area clicked open about half an hour later. He had earlier groaned when Rachel explained that her family has singing snowmen toys in their house during the festive season.
