The new daytime episodes of Back To Reality failed to pull in the punters for Five yesterday (Monday), overnight ratings data shows.

The first - broadcast between 9.30am and 10am - averaged 100,000 viewers, down from the 200,000 who watched kids show Don't Blame the Koalas the week before.

The afternoon edition at 2.30pm fared slightly better with 300,000 viewers and a 5% share across the hour but down on 70s cop drama The Streets of San Francisco, which had 700,000 the week before.

After Sunday's 1.2 million high point, Monday's evening edition was back down to just 700,000 and a 2.6% share, admittedly against tough competition from both EastEnders (13.2m, 52.9%) and Coronation Street (12.5m, 48.2%).
