Oasis singer Liam Gallagher has claimed that he is not threatened by Coldplay.
Gallagher insisted that the Dig Out Your Soul hitmakers are the best in the world and have nothing to fear from their chart rivals.
"We are the most important band. We may not be the biggest band in America but who would want that?" he told Loaded magazine.
"I don't give a s**t about Coldplay. We are the coolest band and we are the best f**king band."
Gallagher also revealed that cracking the US is no longer the group's biggest priority. "America is not the be all and end all for Oasis. America is a country in a f**king very big world, so if they don't like us, somewhere else will," he said.
