Weeds actor Hunter Parrish has joined the cast of indie comedy Paper Man.
Parrish, who is currently appearing in musical Spring Awakening in New York, will star alongside Jeff Daniels, Emma Stone, Lisa Kudrow and Ryan Reynolds.
Husband and wife Kieran and Michelle Mulroney, who are also working on Justice League Of America, are scripting the project.
The movie will follow an unlikely friendship between a failed author (Daniels) and a schoolgirl (Stone). Kudrow plays the disapproving wife of Daniels, while Reynolds is cast as his imaginary superhero friend.
Parrish will play Stone's working-class teenage boyfriend, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
