After three installments of the suprise hit reality series Average Joe, NBC is turning its attentions to the average women in a new show called Plain Jane.
"We asked ourselves, why should the Average Joes have all the fun?" said Kevin Reilly, NBC President of Primetime Development, on Friday.
In a spin on the existing format - where a beautiful single woman has to choose between a bunch of average guys - the gender roles will be reversed, putting a hunky "perfect" man in the spotlight.
At least two cycles of the new show are planned when it debuts in the 10pm slot on Mondays this Autumn.
