According to The Sun today, a Northern Irish contestant - known only as 'Pat' - successfully answered all fifteen questions in an episode of the show recorded on Thursday.
Pat's final question, for which he still had two lifelines intact, concerned horseracing. “Which of these races is not part of the American Triple Crown???? asked host Chris Tarrant, presenting him with the choices Preakness Stakes, Belmont Stakes, Arlington Million and Kentucky Derby.
He then used his 50/50 and phone a friend lifelines before giving the coorect answer, Arlington Million.
“He did incredibly well and was so cool," an audience member told the newspaper. "Everything went very smoothly — he barely even broke sweat. He only lost it when Chris Tarrant said he’d won. He leapt up and his wife Sheila rushed up to hug him.???
The episode will air in two weeks' time.
