Spike TV has announced that production has wrapped on season two of Joe Schmo, where one unsuspecting chap participates in a faux reality show.

This time round, though, there's the ever-present "twist" - a 'Jane Schmo'. 'Joe' and 'Jane' will be the only real characters in an over-the-top show called Last Chance for Love. Spike says:

"Combining elements from many of the romance/relationship shows currently found on television (The Bachelor/Bachelorette, Average Joe, For Love or Money, Meet My Folks), Last Chance for Love is complete with over-the-top eviction ceremonies, cutthroat competitions and many shocking twists. Ralph Garman, who portrayed the smarmy host of the original Joe Schmo returns this season in disguise as Derek Newcastle, the pompous, but randy British host."

Kevin Kay, executive vice president of programming and production at Spike TV - which bills itself as "the first network for men" - said: "We know that guys despise reality relationship shows, so what better genre to mess with on behalf of guys everywhere."

The randiness begins on Tuesday, June 15 at 10pm ET/PT in America.
