American Idol finalist Matt Rogers is back campaigning for votes again.

The former football player was voted off the show on March 24, landing him eleventh place amongst the top twelve.

Only the top ten are guaranteed spots on the 48-city nationwide tour - planned for late summer - but producers may opt to add the eleventh or twelth placed finalists if they wish.

"John Stevens had whole states and whole schools voting for him numerous times," Rogers told the New York Post. "Jasmine [Trias] had a whole island voting for her, if you know what I mean. It's just whoever pulls the most votes in."

The 25-year-old is asking fans to petition for his inclusion on the American Idol website.
