A woman has told The People why she decided to show off her plastic surgery wounds on Five's controversial show, Cosmetic Surgery Live.
Paula King paid £7000 to cut away 4lbs of excess fat from her stomach, but not before showing the nation exactly what the problem was.
Then, in Friday's episode of the programme, viewers were able to see her reconstructed stomach, following the operation.
"It didn't bother me one bit showing my horrible tummy on telly," Paula told the newspaper.
"I knew plastic surgery was my only option. I wasn't nervous about going under the knife - I was just excited and wanted to tell the world."
She added, "The operation wasn't painful and just hours later I was sitting up in bed grinning like a Cheshire cat.
"My husband Nick was expecting the worst but when he saw me in my nightie he beamed and said, 'That's fantastic.'
"I have a scar, but it will fade. And I can now fit into the same trendy clothes as my 13-year-old daughter.
"I'm so pleased I would now like a breast lift and liposuction on my thighs. I can now achieve the body of my dreams."
