Cameron Diaz broke down in tears during an appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show, according to a report on the Teen Hollywood website.

The Charlie's Angels star started to cry as she urged women to vote in the US elections.

"Apathy did not create this country but it's going to destroy it," she said.

"I'm really scared. We're really alone, where we used to be the strongest in the world, we're alone."
