Renee to play Bridget again?

Renee Zellweger said that taking the role of Bridget Jones was a privilege, speaking at the premiere of the second Bridget Jones movie, The Edge of Reason, at Leicester Square, London.

Decked out in a red and gold dress courtesy of designer Marchesa, the actress was asked whether she would like to play Bridget again. Her reply: "Sure it would be fun. You tell me if Helen Fielding writes another book.

"But people have responded to Bridget with a lot of affection.

"I initially had fears about doing a sequel. I didn't want to do something that wasn't substantial, but it was great."

Other stars at the premiere included Hugh Grant with new lover Jemimah Khan, Colin Firth, Robbie Williams, Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne, and the ever-furious Elton John.
