BBC Three Counties Radio will be available on FM in Aylesbury later this month.
The station will switch on a new transmitter for the area on February 14. Listeners in Aylesbury, who could previously only receive the station on AM, will be able to tune to 94.7 FM.
"The switch-on of the new transmitter brings an improved service to all listeners in places including Haddenham, Winslow, Weston Turville and Cuddington," said Paul Jirgens, a senior broadcast journalist at the BBC. "This means that for the first time Three Counties Radio reaches out to everyone in Buckinghamshire."
