Nickelodeon's collection of channels rejoined Telewest Broadband's cable service this morning after nearly two months absence.

The stations - Nickelodeon, Nick Replay, Nicktoons TV and Nick Jr. - were removed from the platform on December 16th following a dispute with Telewest over terms for a new carriage contract.

A newsgroup posting today from a member of technical support staff at Telewest's Blueyonder ISP said: "We're not able to guarantee any channel being supplied for good due to changing customer requirements and contract renewals.

However, as you should be able to see the Nickelodeon channels have been reinstated now terms have been agreed, and should be carried for the foreseeable future."

A freeview of the channels will be available to viewers until March.
