American cable operator Comcast will roll-out a video dating service nationwide on Valentine's Day.
The operator said that Dating on Demand, which is delivered to homes with the same video on demand system used to deliver content including pay-per-view movies, has been hugely popular in Philadelphia, where a pilot programme of the service has been running since August.
It is free to watch videos and also free to add videos to the service, although a subscription fee is charged to actually contact people based on their video personals.
