Major changes are being planned for the upcoming second installment of ITV's kitchen-based reality show Hell's Kitchen.

According to a report in this week's Broadcast, two chefs - Jean-Christophe Novelli and Marcus Wareing - are being brought in to replace Gordon Ramsay, the fiery head chef in the first series.

In series one, celebrity contestants worked the stoves but this time around, members of the public will enter the kitchen to compete for a grand prize. The contestants will be divided into two teams, with each headed up by one of the chefs.

ITV is expected to once again strip the series over a number of consecutive nights. The obligatory companion show is also planned for ITV2.
