25% of new DTT adapters are being bought for use on a secondary TV set in a home that already receives some form of digital TV, according to media regulator Ofcom.
The regulator, in its latest Digital Television Update, indicated that its latest estimates "suggest that 25% of sales of Freeview adapters in the last quarter were bought for use on second sets by people who already have digital (either Freeview, Sky or cable) on their main set."
