Madonna has revealed that her next album will be entitled Defying Gravity.

The singer has completed eight songs from the album, scheduled for release next January, which her label are said to be happy with.

A source told The Sun: "Madonna has played her new material to Warner label bosses for the first time and they love it. There is a rockier edge and the usual electronic influence. The label are really excited and reckon it is full of hit singles."
