Charlotte Church to join Radio 1?

Charlotte Church has reportedly been offered a job at BBC Radio 1.

The singer recently co-presented a show with Jo Whiley to the delight of the station's bosses, who were so impressed with her performance that they offered her a job straight away, reports The Sun.

A source at Radio 1 told the newspaper: "She has a wicked sense of humour and a fantastic voice. They want to try her out with a one-off slot and see how it goes.

"The boss of daytime shows rang her up while she was on air and offered her a show there and then."

Charlotte's single Crazy Chick was released on Monday.
