Changes to the script of Die Hard 4.0 have had to be made in the wake of Hurricane Katrina.
Hollywood.com reports that the fourth movie in the action franchise was supposed to feature a great tidal wave caused by an explosion in New Orleans, a storyline which producers now feel cuts too close to the bone in the light of Hurricane Katrina.
An insider is quoted as explaining: "Everyone cringed when they read that part of the script. It's a good script and no doubt that scene on the Mississippi would have been spectacular, but there is no way it can be used."
