In the UK, the third season of CSI: Miami is averaging 3.1 million viewers and a 13.5% share, making it the third most popular US drama behind Lost and CSI. "CSI: Miami continues to be one of the top-rating American dramas on British TV," said Jay Kandola, director of acquisitions at Five. "We are delighted that the series helps to continue our reputation as the home of America's finest."
With over 6 million viewers, the show is the most popular US drama in Germany, where it airs weekly on RTL. In Spain, meanwhile, an average of 4.1 million (25%) tune in each week.
French viewers are the most keen on CSI: Miami, however: the recent season premiere pulled in 9.3 million (38.2%) for TF1.
"We are thrilled that CSI: Miami - now airing in primetime - has broken the French Top 50, ranking in 29th place; very few American series have ever achieved such a ranking," said Laurent Storch, head of acquisitions for TF1. "This huge achievement reinforces the immense popularity of the series amongst French television audiences."
