I dont have this modle but I have the DIGIHOME DVB915 paid £29.99 including postage from Amazon. Brill, 2 scart outlets easy to set up and use. Looks good quality not plasicy like some. Power adapter is built in so just has normal plug on the end. As with all boxes if you have poor signal your box will play up, Freezing and sticking in standby are the most comon faults.

Have DVB 915 model also. Easy to set up. Good picture quality at a very good price.

I have the DV940B from Argos and paid £24.99 for it. The box is cheap, very easy to use and small which is exactly what I wanted. I previously had a Philips on-digital box which often froze because I have poor signal in my room. The new DV940B provides perfect receiption (but only after 30mins of fiddling with where to place the box). My only negative comment about the box is you cannot see the TV guide for the other channels while you are watching TV. On a whole, I am very happy with the choice given the amount I was willing to pay.

Having purchased the digihome dv940b from argos 3 weeks ago, it subsequently packed up after a week and wound not turn on. I exchanged this at argos yesterday for the same model and have now found that I am missing 15 freeview channels that were on the old box!!! how can this be???

Mark, the reason you are missing channels is most likely not the box but that your reception quality is variable: If so when the box scans for channels, sometimes those 15 channels will be visible and other times not. Try retuning/rescanning a number of times. good luck!

Found this box to be very good until the remote packed in, No contact details for digihome in teh box, manual or anywhere on the web, use of box is limited without working remote control.

This box is definately value for money, only £24.99 from Amazon, I have most of the range and only missing about 4 due to signal problems. But is does seem to change the channel coverage sometimes, I've reinstallled it twice and they come back, or you can go for auto search and it will find them as well. Its no real bother, it looks fine and the set up is a piece of cake. Now thinking of buying another for the bedroom.

I have the Digihome DVB915. Had it 5 months. Encountered 2 other boxes, a sagem and a wharfedale, isn't as good as either, but cheaper. Good points:- cheap, very small. Bad points:- overheats, pixelates more than other boxes, too sensitive to interference e.g. bus going past! Minor glitches:- slow(er) at changing channels, EPG.

I've just bought the DVB 915 from Amazon for £24.99. On the surface this seems like great value but it isn't capable of receiving the signal properly in my area. This is a second box for a second TV (first being a Sony RDR-HXD710 with built in DVB which receives the, admittedly weak, signal fine) but unless it actually coverts the signal it is a complete waste of money. My recommendation is to check the strength of signal first before you buy anything!

I am thinking about buying the dvb915, just to use when I work away from home and stop in hotels. I only want something cheap & cheerful. Does anyone know if this model would work in hotels & would it be worth buying? Thanks

Annie, Kent on March 12th, 2007
Can anyone tell me why my 915 doesn't work? I plugged in all the cables, SCART to SCART, aerial to aerial, plug in plughole! Little green light comes on, but no First Time Installation!!! Very, very frustrating. Went thru all the channels, nothing. My set is an integral video TV, quite old, but all the right connections are there. Do I also need to use a SCART adaptor (only one on the set) and plug another SCART lead into the STB? No address or number that I can find anywhere in instructions to actually ask the manufacturer. Be grateful if anyone could advise, ta. Incidentally, the remote does work inasmuch as it will turn the thing on and off, and when I start it up it always seems to graduate to the channel which plays videos.

I have actually got it to work now - amazingly, and with a little help from a friend. Only thing is the picture is rolling horizontally quite dramatically. Swapped the SCART lead round the other way, better fit, but no effect on picture. Been suggested I get another SCART lead - any advance on that?

Have Digihome DVB915 box. Has anyone got a contact Email for manufacturer? Nice little box bought 5 months ago but sound goes off at times and will only come back if box is switched off and on again. Similarly, the TV picture will go off and suddenly come on again all through the digibox. Great picture but really frustrating! Have tried swapping aerial cables, SCART leads etc. but it is definitely the box.

Annie of Kent - I have just bought the Digihome DVB 915 from Amazon and note that you couldn't get the box to work either but you did eventually (with the help of a friend) How ever did you get it to work because I plug in all the connections and get the green light but no "First Time Installation" menu is displayed - in fact - nothing!

Bought my DVB 915 from Amazon a few months ago. Reasonably pleased, BUT from new after it has been on for 10/15 minutes the sound cuts out for 2 or 3 seconds and continues to do so every 5 or 10 minutes. rang Customer Services who said it was the scart lead (didn't seem interested in the fact it was the one it came with or that it still cut out when sound was sent through the phono connections to my amplifier). changed the scart, no difference, back to Cus Service, must be signal, not interested that signal strength showed max and we are in an excellent signal area and had no trouble with Panasonic box. Reading other comments I am sure this is an inherant fault with this model and they wont admit it. Pity because all the other functions are great, and timer works well.
