Initial Entertainment Group have bought the international rights to sci-fi thriller Next.

Based on Philip K. Dick's The Golden Man, the Revolution Studios film will tell the story of a man (Nicolas Cage) who can see into and affect the future. Julianne Moore co-stars as a federal agent who pursues him in the hope of preventing a terrorist attack.

Lee Tamahori (XXX: State of the Union) is directing from Gary Goldman's screenplay, eyeing a 2007 release.
