Somewhat pricey receiver, but features make up for this. Picture quality is astounding, and once the latest software is downloaded (this, unfortunately, requireing access to a Windows PC with a serial port and a null-modem lead), widescreen switching and "NTSC" source conversion work perfectly. Also one of the faster receivers for USALS motor control around. Blind scan and other features make it extremely good for the satellite enthusiast, but even for a basic 28E freesat setup, its on the best receivers around.

The technomate 1000 plus is a fantastic set top box receiver for free to view channels, and scrambled? I have a 80cm dish pointed at hotbird, with a sky dish towards 19.2 Hotbird gives me approx 1700 channels, while 19.2 I get 300 or so. There is blind search, quick channel change over....instant. Looks good. Easy to set satellites, channel search with excellent quality....85/90%.....The only thing is the EPG is a bit old looking and doesn’t give to much info, but a web update can clear that up. Watch 2/6/8 screens at once, radio approx 900 channels. Good sound. Two SCART socket, audio l/r. All round great box...love it....

I've got the TM-1500CI+ Super and it's probably the best satellite receiver I've bought in terms of quality and ease of use. The menus are very easy to use and clearly laid out. The blind search is very fast and detailed (one of the main reasons I bought it). I pulled in more than 1800+ channels on Hotbird alone! The card reader works perfectly with my Digitalb card. Picture/sound quality is good. I haven't had any problems (the receiver came with the latest software) and I will highly recommend it! If you search around, it can be bought for a bargain!

I just recently purchased the TM-1000D+ Super as my dealer recommended it for it's blind search and I am glad he did! It is fast and thorough and the menu system is very easy to understand. It works well with my ART card. The picture quality is very good compared to other receivers I have tried. Channel search is very fast. I have noticed that Technomate update their software quite frequently which is great for support. I am using it linked to a Vbox as I have a 36volt motor and it works perfectly. If you are going to get a satellite receiver, I would highly recommend this.

Excellent receiver, solid, good remote, very fast, easy, love the blind search. What more can you ask for?

I have used many of these very reliable receivers at various locations and so far had no problems. Easy download from any satellite. Menu easy to follow as long as you keep the instruction booklet. (That applies to all booklets)
