ITV has announced details of a restructuring of its digital team.
As expected, Steven Andrew - controller of ITV's off-peak programming - has accepted a new role as programming director of ITV's digital channels.
“Up to now ITV’s digital strategy has been focussed on launching and establishing new channels," said Andrew. "Now that those channels are up and running the challenge is to build on their already considerable success and grow them further through new commissions and acquisitions."
Of particular focus will be the upcoming launch of the CITV channel and improving on the lacklustre ratings for male-skewed station ITV4. Andrew will report directly to Jonathan Lewis, director of digital channels.
Other changes include the promotions of Zai Bennett from editor to controller of ITV2 and Steve Arnell from editor to controller of ITV4.
A replacement for Daniela Neumann, who quit as commissioner for ITV2 and ITV3 earlier this month, is expected to be confirmed shortly.
