the DAB pick up is very good on this radio, recieving the distant muxes like manchester and stoke pretty well. i've tested alot of radios using capital gold as a reference, and found them to be unable to recieve it. the roberts 25 ia able, and in many areas where others failed. add to this fm and a good am reciever, this radio is an all round winner! the only downside is the sound quality. some may prefer it's "rich" tone, but i prefer a little more treble. all told though, a good choice for those whose tastes span more than just dab.
