if you like the classic style this roberts looks the biz! beautiful from all angles. the sound is good and clear, though not as bassy as the rd27, but i prefer the sound of this model - especially at night/early morning listening at low volume levels. fm reception is great, but dab reception is nowhere near as sensitive as the rd27 or the rd15/25. no manchester/stoke/lancs on the supplied pull up aerial.on the roof aerial, however, 69 stations are recieved with clarity. the low bitrates of dab make dab listening pretty miserable, but it's only doing it's job(rubbish in, rubbish out. i recommend this as a good fm radio, with a dab facility for the mw stations that you can't get (as this radio has no mw). giving it a 4 for it's deaf dab tuner.
