Digital Spy has launched its first podcast - a weekly, half-hour soaps magazine.

The show, to run every Sunday for the next six weeks, will feature a roundup of the latest soaps news, gossip and storyline information as well as exclusive interviews and comments from listeners.

"We are very excited to be joining the podcast revolution with the launch of our weekly soaps show," said DS editor Neil Wilkes, who will anchor the show with soaps editor Kris Green. "If it proves popular we will look at launching additional podcast shows rooted in other areas of DS in the future."
