Sharon Stone’s girl-on-girl scene in Basic Instinct 2 was cut from the final edit of the film.

A threesome scene starring Stone and co-star Anne Caillon was dropped after US censors weighed in.

"We shot the menage-a-trois (scene) and the girl was really beautiful and hot, this amazing French actress and the ratings board made us take it out," Stone explained. "I guess it was too hot."

She added: “If you want to see it, I know it's been online."
