I sent the first one back The picture broke up and froze. The replacement has progressivly gone worse over time. Most stations reset at random some as regular as every 55 seconds.

An excellent box, *BUT* only if it has V3.11 firmware. V3.11 has no 7day EPG and has a limit of about 80 channels (plenty IMHO)

Mine suffered from loads of code problems then eventually packed up after 2 years with a power problem.

At first had many problems, channels froze, box would turn itself off, wouldn't turn back on again, but after updating to the firmware via PC had no problems at all.

Nothing but problem after problem, two replacement and still keeps losing stations. You cannot set timer for example BBC4 while no transmission being received, you can only set timer on channels actually broadcasting.

A cheap box, now on number 2. The original one (which had the new 7-day software) froze and would not recieve, along with a load of problems with multiplex A. Second box has old software, but does not have a 7-day epg. Old sofware has an awful GUI, has EPG problems but is more reliable than the new software.

Turns off frequently. Has to be re-booted by switching off mains. Switches channels. Does not hold signal consistently. We have no signal strength problems. Separate digital tuner in TV functions perfectly.

keeps switching off, then comes back on but to a different channel

Had mine for a few years. Has worked very well but only once I upgraded the firmware to v3.11. Have since updated it to v4.1 with 7 day EPG with no major problems. Box very occasionally locks up (once every few months) and occasionally puts it's self onto standby. Sometimes loses sound when you change channels, meaning you have to change to another channel and back again to recover it. Doesn't automatically find new channels so you have to manually search when new channels start broadcasting. Overall a good box if you have the most recent firmware on it. Will be updating to PVR soon and it will become my bedroom box.
