Doherty to play for prison inmates?

Pete Doherty is planning to play a gig for inmates at London's Pentonville Prison.

The Babyshambles star spent time at the jail last year after being accused of assault and blackmail by filmmaker Max Carlish.

"Pete knows the staff and inmates from his stays and thinks it will be good for prison morale," a friend of the star is quoted by Breakingnews.ie as saying.

"He loves the idea of making it into a prison tour and recording the shows."
