United 93, the first dramatisation of the events of 9/11, was premiered yesterday (Tuesday) at the opening of the Tribeca Film Festival.

The audience present was made up of stars and New York City officials, as well as relatives of the victims of the flight. The cinema fell silent as the scene depicting the crash was shown, except for heartfelt weeping and cries from the relatives.

Jan Snyder, the mother of victim Christine, told the press: "The vision is something we see in our heads every day. It's time for this. The public needs to know, they need to remember and know what the families have gone through."
