Harry Potter author JK Rowling has revealed that she has already decided the title of the seventh book in the series, in a letter to a remarkable fan
The Harry Potter fan had written to the author to commend her on her rant about weight and society, and in the author's reply she mentioned that she has already decided the title of the next book.
A scan of the letter can be seen at www.mugglenet.com, where Rowling writes: "Book seven: can't tell you the title (you didn't really expect it did you?!) but I think I've finally got one. It could have been called a lot of things, you see."
Rowling also mentions the mixed response to her recent comments on the pressure on young girls to be thin, and talks about a recent interview she gave about Harry Potter actor, Robbie Coltrane.
"As for men and weight," she comments. "I've just given an interview for a documentary on Robbie Coltrane in which I talked about how sexy Robbie is...
"Just as most men don't like stick thin women, so a lot of women find brains and wit much more attractive than a fake-tanned six pack, me included."
